Gardenia was born on Cape Sable Island in Nova Scotia,Canada. The youngest girl of 10 children. She met and married Stanley White in 1956,they had 3 sons Leigh,Robert,and Randy.She was divorced in 1976 and moved to Florida with her youngest son Randy.There she met Mark Peine,they married in 1977.They divorced but remained close friends until his death in 1988.She married the love of her life Charles Potter in 1982.They were very happily married until his death in 1990.She met Felix Wurziger on a blind date in 1991,they married in December 1992.They remained happily married until her death in 2006.
Dee was a beautiful woman both inside and out,who dearly loved her family.She cherished greeting cards and I'm pretty sure she saved every single one she ever recieved.Gifts were secondery it was the cards that ment the most to her. Dee liked to travel and did so quite a bit with both Charles and Felix.Although she lived in Florida she went back to Canada every summer,to spend time with her family there.Dee was a very hard working lady who was full of life,Right up until her death she was still keeping 2 of her Great-grandchildren every weekend.She was admired by everyone who knew her.I am honored to have had her for a Mother-in-Law and proud to be a part of her family.She is dearly loved and saddly missed by each and everyone of us.God only takes the best.

Morning Sun
I gazed out over the mountain side
Alone at break of day
And wonder at the colors
God chose to paint that day.
The background of his canvas
He painted softest gray
Then he splashed a ray of sunshine as if
To light the way.
I watched the master painting and began
To understand, that in that lovely painting
He shared a simple Plan.
For just as in his painting our lives
Begin soft gray,, we choose our colors hours by hour
As we live each day.
And when our life is ending the painting all been done.
He wipes the canvas clean for us and
